Dr. Dawood Harunani
Dr. Harunani graduated from Northwestern University in 1984 and went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Cook County Hospital. He then completed a fellowship at the University of Washington in special patient care. I am a Fellow of the American Association of Hospital Dentists, the Academy of Dentistry International, the American Orthodontic Society, the American College of Forensic Dentistry, the American College of Dentists, and the International College of Dentists; a Diplomat of the American Board of Special Care Dentists and the American Board of Forensic Examiners; and a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. In addition, he has lectured around the world and held numerous professional appointments as part of the Academy of General Dentistry. His practice specialties include orthodontics, special patient care, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and periodontics.
Dr. Harunani believes that a focus on patient comfort combined with clinical excellence is the cornerstone of the modern dental practice. He practices with compassion, integrity, and clear communication all while maintaining rigorous clinical standards and a relaxed bedside manner. He enjoys treating patients of all ages - from baby dental exams, to middle school braces, to pre-wedding whitening treatments - he loves watching his patients grow and thrive with healthy, beautiful smiles.
He lives with his beautiful wife and two lovely daughters in the Rockford area, where he has been heavily involved in community service and giving back. In his free time, he enjoys hunting,
fishing, reading, cooking, and traveling the world!

Mary Ann has a Bachelor of Science degree from Marquette University. She enjoys doing hygiene in our family atmosphere. She especially likes to make people feel comfortable at the dentist so they look forward to coming to see her, along with giving the highest quality care to all her patients.
Mary Ann is always willing to help out her team members and assists with many aspects of running the office.
Mary Schladweiler
Registered Dental Hygienist
Mary joined Elite Dental Studio with the acquisition from Dr. Muldowney. Mary is compassionate about her patients dental needs and looks forward to helping each one. She graduated from Loyola University, Chicago, working in the Chicago area for many years before coming to the Roscoe area.
Mary and her husband enjoys spending time with their children, grandchild and their dog Copone. She also likes to garden and bird watch.
Debbie Klipp
Office Coordinator
Debbie grew up in Manteno IL before relocating to the Roscoe area. She brings with her over 18 years of dental experience, and is the first person to greet our patients in the office & on the phone. Her insurance & financial knowledge is priceless to our office & our patients. She is always here to help assist patients with all their dental needs.
Debbie has been married for 41 years, has 2 children & 2 grandchildren. Her hobbies are gardening & spending time with her grandchildren.
GiGi Akelaitis
Dental Assistant
Gigi is a life long resident of the Roscoe area. She graduated from Boylan High School, and went on to complete her Expanded Function Dental Assistant degree in 2006. Her role is to assist Dr. Harunani with patient's dental procedures. She bring priceless knowledge & experience of the dental field to our practice.
Gigi is married with 2 children and enjoys traveling with her family. Other interests include swimming, concerts & puzzles.
Isabelle Insko
Dental Assistant
Isabelle started with our office to see if the dental field was the place for her. She is currently in college and looking to enroll in Dental Hygiene courses. We are excited to have Isabelle's eagerness to learn and to watch her grow in the dental field.
Isabelle is from the area and enjoys being with family and friends in her spare time.
